With the number of devices growing, and the supply chain playing catch up, QEMU has turned up to be a frontrunner for virtualization use cases. In this session, we will focus on the basics of virtualization, and how it differs from emulation, containerization, what is QEMU, and alternatives like KVM & libvirt. This session will include commands, and even a short demo to understand how to get started with QEMU by building our own Raspberry Pi virtually. Get to grip on the concepts of running a virtual machine. Learn how to manage virtual machines from the terminal, get logs, manage permissions, and create network interfaces. The talk will explain the inner workings of these commands, their flags, and arguments in simple English to help demystify QEMU for you to use in your day-to-day work. At the end of the session, you will be confident to work with QEMU & be able deploy optimized virtual machines with ease
