How challenging is the software compositional analysis process (SCA) for you? If the answer is ‘very challenging’, then you must be breaking your head on how to manage your identified dependencies in your software. The answer is enabling continuous automation using open source license scanner and catalog applications to consume, enrich and manage SBOM. This is key to ensure accuracy and consistency in dependency management. In this presentation, we talk about how organizations can manage dependencies at all levels in their software during various stages of the release cycle. From dependency analysis and license scanning to systematically enriching the SBOM to further provide insights to your software composition is discussed in detail. The participants will gain a deep understanding on how to achieve continuous compliance and consistent SBOM management in an automated way using a combination of oss compliance tools such as Linux Foundation’s FOSSology and Eclipse Foundation’s SW360 project.
