Having become aware about the importance of inclusive language and the relevance for it in Free and Open Source projects, I was looking for a way to check the projects I am involved with. In my search I encountered different tools and word lists, each with their strengths and weaknesses. Eventually I consolidated the knowledge into a CC0-licensed customizable configuration for the Woke tool https://gitlab.com/nicorikken/woke-config-builderIn this brief presentation I'll go over the issue of non-inclusive language, the current tooling landscape, gaps left by the existing solutions and the solution I came up with. With this presentation I hope to inspire others to spend time on the issue of non-inclusive language and work towards solutions that don't require one to become a subject-matter expert.
